[TeddyandTiffy]

Hello I started writing this on Thursday but haven’t had a chance to finish it, well U know how it is when U’re a new Grandmother to babies!! Especially when those babies live with U!! LOL! Oh my goodness, my babies are here!!!!!!!! I've been so so excited...I knew they would get here today 5/4/06...Yesterday I said Friday and then Justin (My Husband) Said Sunday. Her temp yesterday Am & Pm was 99.7 and then this morning we got up and Tiffy sleeps with us and I said she is panting, he said "It's hot in here" I said NO it's not, I bet she's gonna have babies today... And I took her out and she was fine so around 8:36 am took her temp it was 98.4, I thought well lets see what happens, so around 10 I took her back out and she peed twice within say 5 minutes, I thought yeah I bet she is gonna go...Well she got in her whelping box and Teddy tried to get in there and man I thought she was gonna eat him up...(She hasn't gotten in there for a long time, been sleeping with us) so then I had a gut feeling they we're gonna come, well I got her a bath and I thought no granddaughter today (Her mommy was off work) girls @ school, I better try to nap a little it might be a long night...Well I laid down with a blanket on the couch and Teddy jumped up there with me, then he jumped back down, he does this a lot and then scratches @ the couch for us to pick him back up, well he was scratching and I told him no U jumped down U jump back up. Well here I thought Teddy had jumped up at my feet (I was just dozing by then) and he kept moving and moving, I said Teddy will U lay still…(I was laying on my belly) and then I felt what I thought was him get right in-between my legs and start pawing, I woke up for sure then and I thought what in the world surly not!!!! Well guess who it was? Yeah ol’ Tiffy, she was layin’ right between my legs, I jumped up, trying not to knock her off and sure enough there was her 1st baby sticking out and then her water broke, I got her up and moved her to the whelping box which was right there in our living room in the corner. She yelped about the time I got her in the box and out the baby come! I was scared to death I ran outside and hollered @ my oldest daughter: “The puppies are here, the puppies are here”, she came running, we thought we’d have to help and then here she did it all beautifully by herself! Well #2 came and was born but wasn’t breathing good so I cleaned out it’s mouth and then it’s nose and started rubbin’ and here it came around, then # 3. Came it was all fine and then # 4, it took her longer to cut the cord and we got ready to cut it and I was raising her leg for it and she got down there and finished it!! I think she was to tired to hold her leg up! Below is babies and weights and times!! I’m so very proud of her, us and our new babies…I wouldn’t trade all this for nothing in this world it’s a experience I’ll never forget!!! Here is their 1st photos, I have them marked with terry cloth pony tail holders, I don’t know how else to do it, I know if I was to paint a toe nail of one of them she’d try to bite it off any thoughts here?
