I think the key is persistence if you want them to leave it alone. You just have to keep redoing it everyday til they get used to it.
It also helps to do one little pony on the front forehaed, then braid some more in from further back and place a second band. My groomer taught me this and they still get it out eventually but it takes longer and much more effort! lol |
