As far as the food goes, just pick out a high quality food that is in the low to mid 20's as far a protein goes. From what I understand, Yorkies don't need high protein food. They don't tolerate it too well. I have fed Oscar Royal Canin 33 his whole life. He loves it. I have tried to switch to Innova but he did not like it. I think the Chicken Soup for the Soul is good for them too. I have been thinking of getting Oscar some of that and see if he likes it. He gets gas on the Royal Canin...that is the only reason I would switch him. I have also heard that the Ceaser's are not that good for them...but a lot of people feed them and the dogs just love them! Good luck!!! |
