Yes, Petsmart does sell small animals like mice, chinchillas, lizards, birds and fish. But they don't sell cats and dogs. I would NEVER
buy a cat or dog from a Pet Store.
The local shelters and anybody else who has an animal that they no longer want can go to Petsmart on Sundays for adoption day. Millions of animals have been placed in new families because of it, instead of being taken to a shelter or pound. This weekend, shelters will be involved. They will bring out some of their adoptable animals to the different store locations in the hopes of finding them a forever home.
I was hoping to luck out and see a Yorkie
there. There was one at a shelter a couple of days ago, but someone else had already adopted him when I found him. One of the shelters that will be participating on Sunday said that they were supposed to be getting in a Yorkie on Saturday. I'm hoping to be there just in case that happens!
