I agree that it is easy to be misunderstood in such a one dimensional medium as text messages. Sometimes things said in jest are taking the wrong way and then again some people can be outright offensive and negative. I try to stick with the old agade of 'if I don't have anything nice to say I don't say anything at all'. I'm not sure what you said but good for you for clarifying that you meant no offense.
