I've tried using the pee wee pad holder that comes in sections and it has not worked. The puppy just pulls and tears at it until he gets it out, and when I come home from work, there is a huge mess: pee, poop and torn pad and stuffing. Someone online suggested a holder from Drs. Forster and Smith that holds the pad more securely. Our breeder suggested putting newspaper under the pad and holder. For some reason, this has worked with her puppy--the one she kept from the litter our puppy came from. If you are concerned about toxicity, you could just use black and white newspaper alone or tuck it into a pee wee pad holder. If I figure it out, I'll be sure to post. |
