I just bought a sewing machine. I know how to sew, but I used to just borrow my mother's. Well, I want to make this swag/curtain for the living room window because I am NOT spending $150 + cost of tassles on ONE swag at Country Curtains!
I told Matt I would try to make it myself b/c it doesn't look that hard. My question is, by looking at the pics below, what kind of fabric do you think this is? What's it called? Do you recommend any specific "heavy" fabric that would look nice for this swag?
