I am a lot like you. When I first got my Yorkie - it was the dead of winter - and I did get him a couple outfits (he looked cute in them), but he immediately outgrew them. Now summer is here and I really don't put clothes on him very often. He has a couple T-shirts that he might wear occasionally, but not much more than that.
My dog is a dog - and I love dogs - and I love him being that way. He is as cute as a little guy can be, and, I'm sure you all know how much enjoyment he is for me. I have had dogs all my life and never will be without one (or two).
I have had many different sized dogs, but smaller ones are far more appropriate for me now. I have a Bichon and a Yorkie - and enjoy both of them so much.
**** My dogs wear something occasionally -- but not often. We have freezing winters, so, of course, they have their jackets that they wear then -- if we are outside for any length of time.
Again - I enjoyed your post.

Same with me. Since I got Baby in the winter, I didn't want her to get sick. As you can see on my "for sale" thread, we're getting rid of winter jackets and such because she has grown out of it. I do have a few things for her for the summer, but not much.
