I have been saving for a year to buy her and well ya know. I had in mind a little furbaby. She is only 5lbs. Sorry about the pics my digital camera's memory card is full. need a new one. Thank you so much for the nice words. meeshue |
I think your little girl is very cute. It is so hard to choose the right pup when we are so excited to have a yorkie! Sometimes some people out there take advantage of our enthusiasm and sell pups that may not be what we expect. It's unfortunate, but there are all kinds of people in this world.
The other thought I had was that maybe your baby came from two yorkies, and thus is "pure" as this breeder understands it, but it could be possible (breeders can confirm or tell me I am nuts) that there was a mix in the background of the mother or father, and it's standing out as dominant genetics in your pup.
It took forever for my Wosie's hair to come in! I began to use "Missing Link" when she was 4 or 5 months old, and she is growing a nice coat now.
If you can't track down your breeder, chalk this up to experience and just continue to love your little girl for the rest of her life. If you have your heart set on a more standard yorkie, then you need to start saving your pennies again! Two yorkies are MUCH better than one anyway!
