Had that issue and had to start leaving the short training leash on Brody when he was inside. He would run from us when he had something he wasn't supposed to have or if we told him No no or whatd you do. We started doing it to leash train him and noticed he was a much better behaved yorkie with it on than without. If he get out of line now all we have to do is step on the leash. Never have a problem. He has only had a couple of times when he got stuck...hehe It sure doesn't slow him down.
