I have had 4 yorkies, 3 had collapsed trachea's and Cali had kennel cough for over 3 months. My yorkies with CT all got it at the age of 5 or so. 2 lived until thye were almost 13 and did not die from CT. With kennel cough I have heard that it is just like the common cold many different strains and maybe the vaccine didn't cover this strain. What your describibg sounds like Cali' and Maya's kennel cough. The vet should be able to ease your mind. Let us know how it goes. Good luck! |
