I brought my 10 week old yorkie in the house with my 5 year old bulldog (70+lbs). They play hard and rough. My yorkie is 5 months old now (8lbs). He is tough on the bulldog. Always nipping at his cheeks, ankles, ears. The bulldog just takes it. My vet told me "what goes on between the dogs is between the dogs", she said that "they have to learn their place in the family". Well I am more scared of my yorkie hurting my bulldog. There has been a little blood here and there, but they have worked it out & I believe they truly love each other now. I think my bulldog is teaching the yorkie to be more calm.
