Living in the country we have bugs, worms, snakes, and other wild animals, but I don't have a phobia about them. I don't like to be surprised by snakes. I don't like to have them show up when I'm not expecting them. Otherwise, they don't bother me.
One of my biggest worries is about the weather, especially this time of year, with all of the tornadoes. We live about 7 miles from town and we cannot hear the sirens when they go off. We have to depend on the internet to warn us. However, about 3 years ago we had a tornado about 3/4 mile from the house and our phone rang off the hook with everyone letting us know that there was a tornado by our house. We were standing in front of the garage....with a portable phone..... watching it. (It didn't do any damage and soon dissappeared.) I don't have a phobia about it, it's just a worry. |
