We will get our female yorkie puppy next month. We currently have a 8 yr old male, wire haired pointing griffin (about 75 lbs). He is a great dog and has grown up with our 2 children from when they were toddlers. He's mostly my husband's dog and he already plans to give the dog extra time when the new puppy comes home. We know that we have to be really careful with the large dog and the yorkie because intentional or unintentional harm could happen. Does anyone have any suggestions about bringing a yorkie into a home with a large dog alreay there. Also, what type of problems should we be alert for? Jeez...this is as bad as when we brought our newborn home to her 3 yr old sister!
