Both of our girls have medium length hair...we are trying to grow it out!! It gets very hot around here, but we just limit the amount of time the girls spend outside, they don't go out during the heat of the day!! They don't seem to be uncomfortable so far...and when they do get really hot, we give them so ice cubes to chew on and cool down!!
