For fun, but they can be useful in several situations. They are great for bikers dogs that travel with thier owners, they are also good for camping or anytime your dog is outside for a long time in sunlight so they protect thier eyes. For instance I am going to go "tubing" on the brazos river this summer and I am going to take chloe with me and I will have her wear goggles for part of the time so her eyes dont get too much sun since the sun reflects off the water and since there will be no shade out there in that river. I also remember someone on YT who put doggles on thier dog when they bathed them so they didnt get water in thier eyes and I thought they was kinda clever.
