And sorry...you can not wear lavender shoes the following year in dance class.
The last year dd took from her....the recital had 3 performances...not counting the rehearsal. Rehearsal was Thursday night...it would last until 1 in the morning...I am not kidding. The kids would rehearse their dance over and over and over....until no one made any mistakes. I'd think to myself...oh my stars...tomorrow someone's gonna screw up AGAIN..they are children....don't you realize that? Show on Friday night, Matinee on Saturday, Evening performance on Saturday night....YUCK. I was stuck in dance recital hell. And guess WHAT weekend Miss Brilliant held this fabulous show???? MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!
I was secretly pleased when my ballerina hung up her dance shoes. |
Wow ours is Not that bad. But it is about a 45 min drive since she wants the recital by HER house. The studio is our town. Let's see Her vs all the students in town. Let's make us drive....
We have a dress rehersal two days before and the show is Friday and Saturday night. By the time we get home it's after midnight. Sunday, just sleep all day. I only make the boys and my husband go one night. I have come to the conclusion they have no fashion sense. Last year one of mine was smaller than my 9 year old daughters.

What the heck. Let's get some coverage here.
Teri what a good aunt you are changing your wedding rehersal.
