I have a Sheltie that is a barker. He has access to a dog run 24/7 and he likes to sit out on the stoop all by himself and guard the neighborhood. 
He's older now, but over the years we've tried EVERYTHING!!! The thing that works best is squirting him in the face with water, but that means you have to stand over him all the time with a squirt bottle... 
Thankfully the houses in my neighborhood aren't close, and the one house that is has the garage on the side that faces my house, so we haven't had any complaints... yet! What can I say. He just likes to communicate! |
LOL...i have got a bark collar on him at the mo...but i think that it is cruel...its how he speaks, and i am taking it back to my friend tomorrow....i will try the water thing though...thanx for that
