Yes my dog does bark, i admit it...he barks to tell me that something is there, like a cat, or the binman, or the postman, other than that he dont bother, he is far too busy running around, and digging up the garden...
i have told him that even though we have domesticated dogs, we have not yet managed to get them to speak the Queens english, nor tell the time, he does not run in and say "Claire i am just letting you know there is a strange man on a ladder looking at me," nor have we got them to tell the time yet...
Has anybody else had this problem???? |

But I hear he's fluent in Greek!!! LOL
I have a Sheltie that is a barker. He has access to a dog run 24/7 and he likes to sit out on the stoop all by himself and guard the neighborhood.
He's older now, but over the years we've tried EVERYTHING!!! The thing that works best is squirting him in the face with water, but that means you have to stand over him all the time with a squirt bottle...
Thankfully the houses in my neighborhood aren't close, and the one house that is has the garage on the side that faces my house, so we haven't had any complaints... yet! What can I say. He just likes to communicate!
