Ok, I'm not trying to be a mother's day downer....but...for years I shared mother's day with my mother or my MIL. Yes, I got gifts, etc, but the rest of the day was more or less reserved for them. Now I no longer have my mom or MIL...so the day is all mine...and ya know what???? I wished I shared that day again.

Oooh honey don't be too down. I too miss my MIL on mother's day (she passed almost three years ago). I still have my mom but we are not all that close due to circumstances beyond my control. You can share the day just relaxing and pampering yourself.
