I was in my kitchen preparing dinner about a week or so ago, when Mitzi started barking at the corner of the room. There's nothing there except the breakfast bar thingy and the microwave.
The next day I found her "playing" with whatever it was she was barking at the day before. She was laying down and barking, then jumping back, barking again, like she was waiting for someone to throw a ball or something. She stayed there for almost 15 minutes, just jumping around like a nutcase.
Since then, I often find her playing with the corner of the room!
I don't mind saying I find it a little disconcerting, lol.
Does anyone else have similar experience with dogs and their imaginary friends? |
I know what you are talking about. I was once babysitting and they had a jack russel. She had always been such a good quite girl and this one time she was acting sooo wierd. She kept wanting in this room and she would lay beside a chair in the room and just stare back behind it, this went on for a while and then she started whinning at this space. I checked for a stcuk toy, or ball that was back their but nothing! So I took her out of the room and closed the door and she starting scratching and whinning like crazy to get back in the room. She was crazy!! I let her back in the room and she went right back to the same spot and was whinning and looking behind the chair again. It was a little creepy....
