I know this will sound "off the wall" but animals and small children are sometimes able to sense things that we "closed minded" and busy adults can't or won't see. Do you have young children that you notice similiar happenings going on? I know some people don't believe in those type of things, but whenever I think of my father (passed away in '73) I get a lot a butterflies around me. I truly believe my father sends them to me. In the winter months, it seems that all I see in magazines or stores or on TV butterflies are put in front of me. So.....just maybe....your furbaby really does have a playmate.
