"I had a yorkie in the past that would not poty train in our old house and when my first daughter was born we choose to get rid of him because we wanted her in a totally clean enviorment."
This is horrifying to me, I'm sorry, but it really is. If your dog was not potty trained, it was because you didn't potty train him.
I'm not a crazy lady who believes you shouldn't go anywhere without your animal...I realize there have to be rules and that following the rules is important.
BUT, when you buy a dog, you make a promise. You are saying to that animal: "I love you, you are mine, I will protect you and keep you for always and ever no matter what because your spirit and well being are in my hands." - That is the promise you make when you bring an animal into your home. You can't just get rid of an animal...dogs aren't disposalble, you can't throw them away when they no longer "fit your lifestyle".
When you get an animal, make sure you're ready, because it is for life.
