Bella HATED her harness at first but I would leave it on her for awhile, and after just a day or two, she was fine. When I first brought her home (and she had adjusted to the harness) I put the leash on and let her drag it around for a day. (I was watching her of course!). After that she was leashed to me constantly for potty training purposes and now she has no problem at all being harnessed/leashed. You just have to be consistent and not give in to them!!!
