What your dog is doing isn't that unusual at all. Male dogs hump - female dogs hump - and spayed females and neutered dogs hump.

And - you're right... it isn't exactly what we want going on in the middle of our front room ---especially with company.

So - just treat it like any other dog behavior that you don't like. Stop your dog everytime he does it. Be firm - distract him - and get him occupied with something else. Truthfully - in time, your dog should realized that his humping is something that you don't approve of and that he will be in trouble or disciplined for doing.

Good luck --- hundreds of us have been there. Unfortunately, many people think this is cute - but, I'm like you........ it is not cute!!!!

And, for sure, remove any toys or objects that he behaves this way with.
