Kirby loves hollow plastic toys too. He found some of my plastic practice golf balls and he just loves them and they're only a couple bucks a dozen so I give him one every few days, thats about how long it takes him to completely destroy one, its cheap entertainment for him and keeps him from chewing on other things.
I love the idea of hanging toys from the ceiling, I'm going to try that!
