Straszny struggled with this for a couple of months. I felt so hopeless, bouncing from one antibiotic to the next. He was went through 3 or 4 antibiotics, and one finally worked. The vet said that it just depends on the pup which antibiotic works for them, and if there was one that ALWAYS worked, he said they would always prescribe it.
Anyway, there is light at the end of the tunnel...
