We're in the thros of "potty time" too. I take Trace outside every 30 minutes and after every nap. I always repeat "go potty". At first, I might have had to wait with him for 5 or 10 minutes for him to go. If he sat down, I stood him back up and repeated the phase that pays...LOL. I think now though he is getting the idea because now he'll generally go immediately It's time expensive, but we haven't had any accidents. He is not allowed to roam unsupervised in my house. I take him to the same area each time, at work and home. I am hoping eventually he will let me know when he has to go. Good luck
