Don't go the day he works. Instead go when a DIFFERENT manager is on shift.
Before you go in w/ your baby, look at the doors, is it posted that no dogs except service animals are allowed? If not, GO IN. And if they try to pull the same stunt w/ you, hold your ground. This is crazy. I know that they'll bring up the arguement that they sell open food and THAT's why they don't allow pets.
Idiots.
Best of Luck!
I'm not sure asking for another confrontation is the best way to handle this. It's safe at this point to assume that the Target she went in was not dog friendly. Does this give the manager an excuse to treat her the way he did? Absolutely not, and I think the best way to handle that would be to lodge a formal complaint and the best way to do that would be to go back to the Targer and speak to the manager on duty to find out the proper channels. Why ask for trouble and bring in your yorkie for a second time. Use the proper channels to deal with it.
