I am going to try and groom Lex myself. What's the worst it will grow back if I mess up
I am sure that Lex won't be happy about my attitude. I had a set of wahl clippers from when I had my Shih Tzu but I gave them to my dad. I need to get another set. They usually run for about $30. I recently purchased a palm clipper and a little skinny clipper from jefferspets.com. They were cheaper there than anywhere else. The palm clipper cost $12 and the skinny pencil size one was $8. I already use those for the privates, bum and in between the pads. I have to find a pair of round edge scissors to do the eye area. Well I figure we can try and eventually learn the right way...no harm no foul. The groomer will charge me $40 for Lex and quite frankly I am not that keen on leaving him there to come back.
One thing I am a bit iffy about is the hair pulling in the ears. Any recommendations for that one?
By the way...on the body what size clip do you use?
