It's a shame how you were treated. I'd do it again on a different day of the week. Do you remember the name of the manager? If not, I'd go ask associates (describe the manager-as though you liked him and wanted to thank him for something but couldn't remember his name) and see if they could tell you the managers name and find out when he works next. Don't go the day he works. Instead go when a DIFFERENT manager is on shift.
Before you go in w/ your baby, look at the doors, is it posted that no dogs except service animals are allowed? If not, GO IN. And if they try to pull the same stunt w/ you, hold your ground. This is crazy. I know that they'll bring up the arguement that they sell open food and THAT's why they don't allow pets.
Idiots.
