I would have let him know that he had humiliated me by the way he treated me and I would not be back.

I work with the public and I try to treat everyone in a nice way. He could have gotten his point across and even made sure you did leave without humiliating you.

I would write to someone higher up and tell them how he humiliated you and that they have lost a customer. Be sure to tell them the Yorkie was in a bag.

An associate of my daughters was treated very poorly at Walmart when she tried to return something. We live in a small town with not a lot of places to shop so Walmart is used by all of us quite a lot. This lady writes checks for everything, so she got out all of her cancelled checks, figured up what she had spent at Walmart in the last year (it was a lot) took the checks to Walmart and also wrote to someone higher up. She got an apology and the manager of the store took the lady to the persons at the customer service desk and told them if she ever came in to return ANYTHING she was to get the best service possible from everyone.

One of our busdriver's teenage daughter and a friend went to Dilliard's to try on Prom dresses. The mother's were in a nearby Salon getting a manicure. The girls tried on dresses and then hung them all back up on the racks. A salesgirl stopped them on their way out and accused them of shoplifting. She took them back to the department and totally humiliated them. Of course, they hadn't taken anything. When Trish found out from her daughter (who was in tears) she went back to Dilliards and raised "hell" with the manager who called the sales person up and made her apoligize. They also gave Trish a $100 gift certificate.

Sometimes it pays to complain.
