Well, I dropped my little guy off at the vet's this morning for his surgery. It's like he knew..lol...and was resigned to the fact that he was going to be left there. I put him on the exam table and he laid down all relaxed.
(He was much more relaxed than I)
She's going to remove some teeth while he's out and she's also going to give him pain meds that will cover him for the first 24 hours. She said his mouth will probably hurt more than his underside.
(Hubby was feeling so bad for Topher this morning....empathy...must be a 'guy thing'...lol...)
I know he's in wonderful hands, but I do worry still. I lost a cat during surgery last year (another vet) so I'm a bit apprehensive.
I'll be picking him up later this afternoon...any tips on what I can do to make him more comfortable?
