Kristy, I have just been trying to catch up! I am so sorry this was all too late but you gave it your all and shouldn't feel bad at all ....
you tried!! Unfortunately, people like Brandy are a dime a dozen! Like someone suggested, a Rescue Fund is an excellent idea and instead of giving up ... perhaps with some planning and putting a plan in place, the next one [and unfortunately there will be a next time] will be easier? Why not talk to the Admin and get his thoughts on this? There are so many out there who would love to have these sweet, mistreated babies and others who just want to help get them out of their miserable circumstances. Someone like you, with a "support system" can do so much good!! Keep you chin up, we're all behind you and ready to help any way we can!!
