Just curious... doesn't exactly fit this forum, but any thoughts on a Yorkie that doesn't bark? Everyone seems to have their own opinions.... The things that would normally trigger a bark (other dogs, barking, doorbells, new people, playing) dont phase him. When I got him from the breeder she warned me that he was an incredibly timid dog (no kidding - he shakes like crazy over new situations and new things) and you could totally tell from his demeanor and the way he interacted with the other puppies. She also felt as a result that he probably wouldn't bark much. At 6 mths he still hasn't made a peep, just has a little whine now and then which is just toooo cute. People are just baffled when I tell them about my "perfect Yorkie" that doesn't bark, since they are notorious for yipping - in reality, I think that he will "find his voice" at some point.. it's just a matter of time. Any thoughts on this or similar stories?
