Most offices have set prices for neuters so you could give some a call and find out the rate in your area.
Make sure your vet uses isoflurane or sevoflurane gas. It is more expensive, but a lot safer. Have the preop blood tests performed.
I'm a little concerned about how many times you've been to the a vet's office. Always hold your dog and never let him on the floor. A vet's office is a very unhealthy environment. Although my vet's office looks very clean, I usually wait outside and have them call me on my cell phone when it's our turn. I know this sounds a little paranoid, but there are more sick dogs and viruses in a vet's office than anywhere else. |
