I do believe We Had a beloved german shepherd a few years ago who was really my sons companion anyway he got diagnosed with cancer and the vet said when she operated she would see how bad the cancer was and if it was real bad wouldnt let him wake up so my son and family all had a chance to say goodbye and tell him how much we loved him and to thank him for all the wonderful years he gave us,but sadly it was bad and my son had to go and pick his body up.It was the saddest thing to see my son get his body out of the car and bury him.We all had a funeral for him including the other animals and it was a very sad day for us,the next week we had some friends over and we were telling them about him and they thought we were joking because they said they just saw him walk past the door,we even looked out side because they insisted he did,so I felt he was still with us.
