LOL. I felt the same way - mom made our clothes and we all had to match (my brother and sisters and I!). Especially being the oldest, I hated it. However, when I became a mom - I also made special matching outfits for my son and daughter on holidays cause I thought it was adorable. Now they look back on their photos (they are 23 and 21) and say I was a dork!
