1. I wanted laser surgery but this vet does not perform laser, does the regular surgeries heal quickly?
2. Is over 7 months too old?
3. is 260.00 too expensive?
4. How long will Zoe be in pain after the surgery?
My heart is aching knowing I have to neuter him. Please help.

My first yorkie was a male. He had the "regular" surgery and it didn't take too long to heal. The only day he acted like he felt bad was the afternoon of...he was sleepy. I purchased pain meds for him for after.... just in case, and gave those to him. Either they worked or he wasn't in pain

The next day he was back to his old self. I paid pretty close to what you did....that was everything though...the blood work before, the surgery, and the pain meds...maybe a little less but pretty close. No 7 months is NOT too old.
Neutering him will bother YOU more than it does him. Good luck and try not to worry to much.....
