I too was worried about needing a cone after surgery so I called my vet and she said that since he had internal stitches it wasn't necessary. The chances of him infecting the area were very slim from licking, but we should prevent licking as much as possible because they iodine type stuffed they sprayed on it could upset his tummy. |
he has internal stitches as well... 2 incisions because left testicle didn't drop.....
