When we had Ellie at Puppy Kindergarten, the trainer told us to use something soft and if the treat is to big to break it into small pieces. She said when you are training, like to sit, stay, etc., you need a treat that they can eat really fast so that you can repeat the command again quickly. I use Puperoni To Go. As a treat for going potty on the paper I use Charlee Bear. Ellie seems to really like them.
