I don't know if I know exactly what the withers are. I found this pic of a poodle showing a wither measurement - if this is the withers, then she is 6 1/2 inches. Here's a pic of her, I know it doesn't help with this discussion, but isn't she a cutie.
I guess the poodle pic is the wrong type to load anyway, it's showing from the top of the back to the ground for a withers measurement.
