Ringworm is a nasty little fungus to deal with alright but it can be cleared up quite easily. And don't panic if you get it from your pet. When my niece (2 yrs. old at the time) got it more than 20 yrs. ago the first Dr. told us we had to shave her hair and gave her several prescriptions. None of them worked. Finally took her to another Dr. who told us shaving was unnecessary ( too late! ) and that any fungicide that would cure athlete's foot would cure ringworm. We used absorbine junior and it worked very quickly. I've used it numerous times on children and pets over the last almost 30 yrs. always with good success.
