I got so angry with Chloe. I know she is just a puppy and everything is a big game to her. I try to keep everything out of her reach like you would do with an infant. Because she is a huge digger and everything goes into her mouth. Yet, when I think I got everything picked up, she still manages to get something she is not supposed to have. And when she does get something, it always gets into her mouth. And when I go to grab her, to get it out of her mouth, she runs from me. That 2.1 pound dog runs faster than a greyhound. She somehow got ahold of a fortune cookie wrapper that I put in the trash. And I was literally running like crazy for 15 minutes trying to get the plastic out of her mouth. She thinks it is a big game! I am not about to let her swallow something that can hurt her. And believe me, I am trying my hardest to make sure there is nothing in her reach that she can get to. But, she always manages to find a way. I am terrified that one day she will dart out of the door and I will never be able to catch her. I have an extremly tough time trying to catch her in the house. She knew I was upset with her this time because I put her in the laundry room. And so far, she has no let out one bark to get out. I have been trying since she was 6-weeks old to teach her the simple commands of come, sit and stay. Nothing is working. I just wish I had the money to send her to puppy classes. That is why I can never let her have free roam of the house. When I can't supervise her, she goes in her kennel or in the laundry room with the door shut. That is the only way I know she is safe.
