Have any of you talked to your pharmacuist about the cost? Sometimes the drug companies will give you a break on the price, but you have to ask. Your pharmacist might have some suggestions for you.
Also ask you Dr for samples. Ask them every week. Bug the heck out of them.
My husband takes 8 different medications, his insurance has a cap, so after the company has paid out a set amount, then it's all out of pocket for us. I have learned to get as much of it in sample as I can so we don't hit the cap so early in the year. Last year we made it all the way through the year. Prior to doing this, we would hit the cap in June. |
