I am not a breeder but I have seen puppies that were born all gray. Usually only one or two in the litter while the rest are black and tan. It is perfectally normal, just means that that particular color gene was very strong in that particular pup. I bet if she had puppies in the future she would have some gray ones. Atleast that is what I have heard from several different breeders around here where I live.
