Default Time to be honest . . . .

How many of you read "all the posts" on a long thread.

I don't - but I do scan through to see if the original poster added any further posts - and I do scan through (not carefully read) a lot of the responses.

I'm a fast reader - and a fast scanner - I used to teach English and Social Studies and often took 500 papers home a night to read and grade... and my current job in the medical profession is scanning at least a thousand pages of material a day - with several other duties as well.

I can't even imagine how long it must take someone who reads more slowly to get through all the posts on some of these longer threads - especially if they try to keep up with all the threads - as well as respond to many of them. (It would be a full time job...)

I think all the activity is what makes this such a great forum. It is one busy place!

Let me know how much you read?
