I once heard that dogs don't like getting baths because they don't have any control over it. When they are playing or sitting in their water dish they are in complete control. The same goes for when you blow on your dog's face, he hates and can't control it, but sticking his head out of the window in the car he loves it because he can control it. It seems to make sense to me anyway. After lots of baths he will get used to it. Mine used to scream like you were killing him, 5 baths later he was fine. Just takes patience and time.
