If leaving your puppy home is really the only option (and is the lesser of two evils) ... it may not like being alone for 10 hours - but it will survive - and probably sleep most of the time. If someone is coming over to check on her (this is a good idea) - have them spend a little while with her.

Of course - she'll have food and water and everything she needs.


**** I went back to work after I had my puppy for a week. And, I'm gone 6 or 7 hours. I did have neighbors that checked on him for the first week or two, but since then he has stayed home alone. He gets along just fine. He doesn't cry when I leave - and he wakes up "yawning" when I return. And, we play play play all evening.

See if you can find someone to babysit -- but if you can't - your little pup will do just fine. I'm sure leaving him will be harder on you than it will on him.
