the show breeder I got my five year old Silk from feeds all her dogs puppy food and she has many. She evidently knows what she is doing as she has been breeding and showing for many years. I have all three of mine of dry puppy food and wet puppy food both. I free feed so the dry is down all the time. I had tried the same thing with Ceeby when I got him at eight weeks. He would have no part of the puppy food either wet or dry so until he was four or five months old, he ate adult food. His hair was thin and he wasn't getting nutrients so when I bought Silk, I tried the puppy food again and he loves it. He is filling out a little and his silky coat is beautiful. he is full of energy now. |
